I moved to the area about four years ago and have been coming to Gas N Wash ever since. I originally came for the car wash membership, but what kept me coming back was the experience inside. The people are always warm and friendly, the stores are clean, and it felt like a place where you are treated well every time you walk in.
That experience made me curious about what it would be like to work here, so when I saw an opening, I applied.
Now that I work here, I have realized there is even more than I originally saw as a customer. There are so many food options and conveniences I did not even notice before, and it has been great discovering everything the stores offer.
The biggest difference compared to other places I have worked is the leadership. Management is hands on and involved, and that changes everything. When you see leaders working alongside you, it motivates everyone to do the same.
What makes me want to stay is the opportunity for growth and the support from leadership. You are encouraged to learn, improve, and move forward, and you are given clear direction on how to do it.
If someone is considering applying, I would tell them to do it. I wish I had applied sooner. It is a positive environment where you feel trusted, appreciated, and not micromanaged.
